What registry repair software should I buy?
Saturday, March 22nd, 2008Not a simple question to answer, because there are so many names of registry cleaner reviews available. Not all are created equal, some do a better job then others, and some offer added features beyond just registry repair. So what should you look for?
There are a few features that are a must for registry repair tools. The first is the ability to backup your old registry files prior to repairing those files that are already there. If you cannot backup your old files you’re asking for trouble when deleting items. Backup allows you to revert to the old settings you had and effectively undo any changes made.
The second feature I believe is a must is the ability to manually repair items that the software finds. While software is designed to automate things, I believe that a quick look at the list of items the software finds should be done. Why? Just to ensure you don’t spot the name of a program you currently use in the list of items to repair.
