REDESIGNING HOUSE CHANDELIERS
Friday, June 27th, 2008If you are in the process of redesigning your house, you need to know stuff about specific fixtures and furniture that should be placed there. But if you really don’t, ask friends who have some experiences about redesigning. There are also online manuals that may help you on that end. Ask, ask… don’t be shy.Redesigning the dinning area is one of the trickiest ones to do. You must make sure that you put the appropriate chandeliers on that area of the house. You just can’t be wrong there. Chandeliers have multiple bulbs and tend to shed a lot of light. The amount of illumination that you will need for the dining room will be based upon this formula: Length X Width X 1.5. If a room is 12 X 15, then you will need roughly bulbs that produce a combined total of 270 watts. A chandelier with 6-40 Watt bulbs will most likely provide adequate illumination, especially if complemented by wall sconces, buffet lamps, or other light fixtures. The diameter of chandeliers should be approximately equal to 1/2 the width of the dining room table and mounted close to 27-30 inches above the table.
