First you need to have a spreadsheet of quotes ran for you from a broker or agent. This will give you good starting point and you get to see who is offering the best rates. Second ask your broker for a vital signs report this is comparison of the companies and their ratings with company financials. Remember if you buy off price alone it’s like almost anything you might get the cheapest rates but they probably will lack in other areas. Mostly in customer policy holder and customer service. I know of a couple carriers that have great rates but try getting a live body to speak to on the phone (good luck). Your broker will most likely know as well the good all around carriers to work with as well but do your own research as well.
