The link title should use a keyword or phrase used alot on your site for one. Another thing to pay attention to is what your anchor text says as the search engines index by context as well as keyword. You want the keyword and context to be very closely related. the anchor text, the site name, and the sites information are all important factors that the spiders use in the determination of your sites value.
