Don’t be afraid to negotiate your debts
Thursday, September 4th, 2008If you are interested in negotiating your debts with your creditors, the first thing you need to do is get rid of the fear of what they will or will not agree to. Believe me, if you take the first step in contacting your creditors rather than ignoring them, they will gladly work out a deal. The bottom line is that they want to get paid. Therefore, it is in your best interest and theirs that they willingly work out a mutually agreeable payment plan. Receiving something is better than nothing. This is true even if your accounts have been turned over to a collection agency.
