Espresso methods
If you are unfamiliar with espresso, you may be unsure what all the hype is about. You may not understand the appeal of a small one ounce drink of concentrated coffee that costs as much or more than a full sized cup. But there are more differences between espresso and coffee than the size of the cup. Unlike regular coffee which uses a drip method to pass water through beans that have a coarse or medium grind, espresso machines to force water through very finely ground beans.
This results in an extremely intense coffee taste that most afficianados agree provides the ultimate in flavor.
