Saying Goodbye to a Mother and Grandmother
When my grandmother died I had no idea she was being cremated. She was laid out for us for the wake and then when we had the funeral, she was right there in the coffin for us to say good bye to her. I found out later that she would be cremated and buried later. My aunt said that the Cremation Cost wasn’t the problem, it was what my grandmother wanted and then she asked me if I wanted to go to the grave site with her in the spring to watch the burial. My grandmother would be put in the same grave as my grandfather, side by side.
