It is probably possible to turn almost any Christchurch wedding venue into a quiet, restrained mood-setting place for your wedding day. Christchurch is like that throughout. Quiet and trying to be dignified. From the Cathedral Square at the center, along the winding Avon River and out past the many gardens and parks, this is a city with a slow, refined character. So a wedding day here could easily be restrained. Personally, I am for that sort of marriage and reception. My own wedding cost next to nothing (we bused and hitchhiked to our honeymoon, for instance) and yet we have many fond memories of the day. for a low-cost but memorable wedding day a Christchurch venue can be found.
