I have always volunteered my time in my children’s classrooms.  I go one afternoon each week and help in my sons kindergarten classroom and one afternoon is devoted to my daughters third grade class.  This has proven to be a great experience for all of us.  I am able to get to know their teachers and their classmates.  I always know what is going on with their studies and is a lot of fun.  This week my daughters class is learning all about plastic recycling.  I have to admit I learned a thing or two that we need to implement in our household.
