Electrician Skill Sets
Wires and sockets are not the only things and electrician has to deal with. Electricians typically have to have at least some practical knowledge of how to handle masonry, carpentry, and metal-working tasks. This is because there will be times when maintaining or installing electrical systems that an Electrician will have to do some carpentry, masonry, or metal-working in order to get a component of the electrical system exactly in place. In situations where they will be working outdoors, a working knowledge of how to handle situations unique to the outdoors will be quite necessary. Electricians overall, are pretty well rounded with regards to skill sets, as most blue collar workers go.
