Will Deny Everything
Spotting an emotional affair can be difficult sometimes. If your partner shows conventional signs of cheating such as sneaking around, behaving differently toward you, or flat out lying, this could be the beginning of an emotional affair. Generally emotional affairs involve emails that your partner doesn’t want you to see, or they may take a phone call in another room and shut the door without telling you what it was about.
Don’t be surprised if your partner gets defensive or denies they have done anything wrong. If your partner begins to pull away from you and seems distant, they may be engaging emotionally with someone else.
