The challenges of contractor cost estimating
Doing home improvement projects can be very fun and rewarding. You can definitely improve your home and add to its value. One thing you need to be careful about is containing your costs. If you don’t establish budgets for materials and labor you can end up costing yourself a lot of money. When I first started doing this I found contractor cost estimating to be a challenge. After a few projects you get a better understanding of the market and how contractors work. This has allowed me to better negotiate for the last few projects that I have undertaken and contain my costs a little better.
