The Sadness of Divorce
My exmormon uncle ended up leaving my aunt after years of differences he felt were too difficult to bear. He felt they had grown apart, but she had been so faithful to him through everything. She put him through medical school, stayed home with their four children, and she continued to be the woman he married. When his philosophy of life changed, he just grew distant from her and wanted her to change right along with him. When he decided to take up drinking, my aunt put her foot down and said she wasn’t going to allow my exmormon uncle to drink in their home. That was the last straw for him. Our family will never be the same. We will miss the vacations we had with both of them.
