Types of Patents Are Available For Both Designs And Functional Objects
I have always been a designer with great ideas for new products, but making them has always been a challenge. It really helps out that there are patents available for just the design of a product because I have never had the skill set to turn my designs into functional objects. Upon applying for a patent the other day, I found that I would make sure that there were no other types of patents that I would need. The design patent allows me to make sure that no one else can use or sell my design for at least fourteen years and I don’t have to pay any maintenance fees.
