Video Game Design Programs: Code Or Graphics?

Wanting to become a video game designer can lead you into many of the coolest jobs available today.

In essence you’ll get paid to play and design video games.

However, to get into the industry, you’ll need some training. And depending on what area you want to specialize in, the training will differ.

Video game design programs are set up in two primary categories: Computer software programming and computer graphic and animation design.

Software programmers will learn how to write the complicated code demanded by today’s games. While on the graphic and animation side of things, training will focus on the software used in creating the graphic images and action sequences.
