Enjoy A Great Hawaii Waterfall Hiking Adventure
The Hawaiian Islands attract millions of visitors every year, including a large number of hikers who are attracted not simply by the magnificent scenery but also by the fact that the islands are so diverse and you can hike one day across a lava field and the next through a rainforest. The islands are essentially volcanic and indeed as recently as March of this year the Halema’uma’u crater erupted sending ash over an area of some 70 acres. Indeed, if you follow the Chain of Craters road today you will descend some 3,700 feet only to find yourself at a dead end as you path is blocked by an active lava flow. But perhaps the main attraction for many hikers is the magnificent waterfalls which provide what many hikers refer to as the Hawaii waterfall hiking adventure. If you have never visited Hawaii then this is one destination which is a must.
