Something that I have come to enjoy about the local football matches at Ewood Park, is the fact that I, as a fan of the local team, get to watch the home matches in the oldest of all the stadiums in our league. Seeing as how it was originally built back in the late 1800′s, there is a certain feel of history and class that permeates the grounds that make watching a match there something a little more special than at the newer grounds around the league. However, something I’d like to remind folks coming to visit this stadium from out of town, is the simple need to remember that it is an older one.
