Riding Boots The Height of Fashion
My sister is so weird! She’s a junior in high school, and has always had a wacky sense of style. She likes to shop at flea markets and thrift shops, and often sews her own clothes. Yesterday she wore a blouse that she’d made out of a bedspread, a pleated skirt she picked up at a garage sale, and tall black English riding boots that laced up the sides. I guess she likes the attention, but she’s also pretty passionate about her “art,” as she calls it. She wants to be a fashion designer, and I bet she’ll succeed, because she is pretty talented. That said, I don’t expect to see her creations being sold in mainstream stores anytime soon!
