Headache avoided thanks to a simple piece of software
I’ve been working for myself now for a few months. I work online and develop websites for my clients. I also store most of my important files and invoices all on the same computer I work on. I had never considered backing things up until my accountant told me I was crazy to not have it stored somewhere in case something went wrong. So I started doing my research and reviewing online backup reviews.It wasn’t two days after I had selected a service to backup all my critical files that a power surge hit my home. My laptop was fried. It wouldn’t even boot up. When I took the hard disk into a tech shop they told me none of the data was recoverable. Thankfully my insurance covered my loss of the PC, and the backup software I had setup just two days before saved me and my data.
