Installing a faster hard drive for more productivity.
I’ve recently been tasked with installing faster hard drives in all of the laptop computers for a small company here in Atlanta. This is a very typical job for our Atlanta laptop repair company.
The client is a web development shop consisting of about 30 web developers, graphics designers and java developers. What we’ve found is that it really can produce pretty drastic results in efficiency. One programmer we worked with took very accurate tests of compilation of a very detailed website. Before the new hard drive upgrade it took roughly 2 mins 24 seconds to compile, and after the upgrade it took around 1 min 31 seconds. That’s a 37% increase in productivity and for $99 it should more than pay for itself within a month.
