Why the industry should standardize cabling into one type
I think I speak for all of us, when I say that I want a standardized cable type for digital transport. Instead of having to use seperate cable types for televisions, HD, USB, SATA, and computer screens, why can’t companies come together and agree on a standard that could be rolled out to become the one and only industry standard?
If we were able to accomplish this, the integration of electronics would come much easier to interface with each other. Cable review with one cable and minimal back hardware, you would be able to transfer data, media, audio, and video. If this can be accomplished, it would make everything much easier and much more efficient. So, are there any takers on my proposal? Or will you all continue to make your own lame proprietary standards?
